East semifinal preview: Bruins-Canadiens

EASTERN CONFERENCE SEMIFINAL BEGINNING TONIGHT

Bruins vs. Canadiens

Coaches: Bruins — Claude Julien; Canadiens — Michel Therrien

Season series: Canadiens 3-1

Outlook: The Canadiens won 24 of the 33 previous series between two of the league's most heated rivals, but the Bruins have taken seven of the past 11. … One of Montreal's greatest assets is its speed. Boston relies on strength and solid positioning. … The Bruins have the edge in the net with Vezina Trophy finalist Tuukka Rask, who allowed just six goals in five games in the first round against the Red Wings. The Canadiens' Carey Price did not have a great series against the Lightning, allowing 10 goals in four games, but he set career bests with a .927 percentage and 2.32 GAA in the regular season.
