New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush remains questionable for game against Tampa Bay Buccaneers

NEW ORLEANS — RB Reggie Bush was held out of practice for the third straight day Friday because of swelling and soreness in his left knee, and he is listed as questionable against the Bucs. Coach Sean Payton said Bush could step in without the practice reps, but he also doesn't want to risk a setback.

Brees' mother: The death of QB Drew Brees' mother has been ruled a suicide. Mina Brees, an attorney from Austin, Texas, died Aug. 7 while in Colorado, just days after the Texas Attorney General's Office reportedly subpoenaed her business records. A coroner said this week that Brees, 59, died of a prescription drug overdose. Drew Brees has said relations with his mother were strained.
