. "We were a few plays short against a good team, and it ended up being the difference. Certainly you look at the turnovers. There was an imbalance in the penalties. … I think that hurt us some, but I was proud of the way we fought through."

Saints coach Sean Payton

. "They shut us down. They stopped us. We didn't get it done."

Saints RB Reggie Bush, on the Bucs defense

. "I thought it was up and down. He struggled with punt returns, and he had a couple of drops. So we just have to keep getting the rust off and getting him acclimated to game speed, and he'll be fine."

Payton, on the play of RB Reggie Bush in his first game back from a left knee injury

. "It's disappointing, very disappointing. It's probably one of the more disappointing losses I have ever been a part of."

Saints QB Drew Brees

. "He's a tough back when it's dry, but when it gets wet, he's even more slippery. I think we did a great job of gang tackling to limit his yards as much as we could."

Saints LB Scott Shanle, on stopping Warrick Dunn

. "They are aggressive. If there was a play out there to make, they made it. They played well. We have to give them credit."

Saints WR Lance Moore, on the Bucs defense

. "We thought that we would jump out and stay out. But … for every big play that we made defensively, we gave up a big play; with the long run (leading to a touchdown), long pass for a touchdown."

Saints LB Jonathan Vilma, on the Saints defense

. "What hurts really is that we had a chance to win it in the end and didn't take it."

Brees

Wow, the Saints sound like they know more about who the BUCs are than some people who CLAIM to BE BUC fans! Once again our team did what it had to do to get the Win! Keep it Rolling Tampa Bay BUCS!

An imbalance of the penalties. You mean like the mystery flag against Barber that negated an INT which eventually led the Saintsto getting back into the game. Thanks for leaving your best back, "The Deuce," on the bench for most of the game, moron.
