Bengals-Chargers AFC wild-card preview

AFC: Chargers (9-7) at Bengals (11-5)

When/where: 1; Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati

TV/radio: Ch. 10; 98.7-FM, 1010-AM

Line: Bengals by 7, 46½

Notes: Cincinnati has been dominant at home — undefeated and scoring at least 34 points in their past five. Like the Chiefs, the Bengals' last playoff win came against the Oilers clear back in 1991. San Diego knows about road wins, having beaten three playoff teams — Eagles, Chiefs and Broncos — at their place. The Bengals won 17-10 in San Diego on Dec. 1. The Chargers won their next four to steal the AFC's final playoff berth. Watch out for two great rookies: Chargers WR Keenan Allen has five touchdowns over his past four games while Bengals RB Giovanni Bernard had 1,209 yards from scrimmage.

Greg Auman's pick: Bengals 34, Chargers 28
