The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will honor late owner Malcolm Glazer with a uniform patch throughout the season.
The patch features the letters "MG" in large white letters on a black circular background. It will be on the front upper left side of the team's jerseys beginning with Friday in a preseason game at Jacksonville.
The team also plans a video tribute to Glazer, who died May 28 at age 85 after a long illness, at the Sept. 7 home opener against Carolina.
"Our father was very proud of his ownership of the Buccaneers and we know how special each football season was to him and our entire family," said Bucs co-chairman Bryan Glazer. "The support we have received since his passing has been overwhelming and we look forward to honoring him this season."
