GREEN BAY, Wis. — Eddie Lacy ran for a touchdown and caught one of two first-half scoring passes from Aaron Rodgers, helping the Packers top the Falcons 43-37 on Monday night.

Lacy's 1-yard touchdown catch with 4:20 left in second quarter was set up by safety Morgan Burnett's interception of Atlanta's Matt Ryan. Green Bay's defense nearly got a second pick later in the quarter after tackle Letroy Guion tipped a Ryan pass while being double-teamed. The 315-pound Guion couldn't control it before it hit the ground.

Atlanta punted two plays later, and the Packers were on their way to a 31-7 halftime lead, but the Falcons rallied as Julio Jones had 259 yards on 11 catches.

Berry diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs safety Eric Berry has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease and will begin chemotherapy for what doctors called a "very treatable and potentially curable" form of cancer. Dr. Christopher Flowers, who directs the lymphoma program at Emory's Winship Cancer Institute, said Monday that Berry will have "standard chemotherapy approaches." In a statement via the Chiefs, Flowers did not provide a timetable or prognosis. "I want to thank the Emory University School of Medicine, along with Dr. Flowers and his team, for all of their hard work and effort in diagnosing and creating a plan for me to battle this thing," Berry said in a statement.

Anderson scored Sunday; league spokesman Michael Signora said, "It was an acknowledgement of good mechanics between the two officials involved in making the call." … Buffalo reached a settlement to waive injured receiver Mike Williams, the former Buc.
