KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe, who sustained a concussion in Week 16 and sat out a game, was cleared to play against the Colts on Wednesday.
Bowe was hit in the neck area by Colts S LaRon Landry. He finished the game but said later he never quite felt right.
"I'm fine; just had a little minor headache," Bowe said Wednesday. "I didn't feel as bad as some guys felt. I just felt tired. So I got some rest, and I'm ready to go."
Bowe is second on the team with 57 catches, which have gone for 673 yards and five scores.
More Chiefs: The status of LB Tamba Hali and RT Eric Fisher remains uncertain. Hali is dealing with swelling in his knee. Fisher hurt his groin late in Tuesday's practice. Neither participated fully Wednesday. Donald Stephenson, who started three games while Fisher had a shoulder injury and four while LT Branden Albert had a hyperextended knee, took the first-team reps.
Bengals: Leading receiver A.J. Green did not practice for undisclosed reasons. But the team said it expects him to play Sunday.
Colts: CBs Vontae Davis, Greg Toler and Darius Butler fully participated in practice. Davis hurt his groin Sunday. Toler has missed seven games this season with a groin injury, and Butler has been slowed by a quad injury. Also, DT Ricky Jean Francois, out since Dec. 1 with a foot injury, was a full participant.
Chargers: Leading rusher Ryan Mathews did not practice because of an ankle injury. But he sat out the first two practices last week because of the injury before playing. His status for Sunday hasn't been announced.
Eagles: S Earl Wolff didn't practice because of the right knee injury that forced him to miss five of the past six games. Coach Chip Kelly said he must participate in today's walkthrough or he will be out Saturday.
Packers: About 8,500 tickets remain for Sunday's game. But the team, which had about 15,000 left 24 hours earlier, said it is "optimistic" it will avoid a blackout.
Patriots: S Devin McCourty, who sat out Week 17 with a concussion, returned to practice.
