How long do teams have to pick in the NFL draft?

The NFL draft is spread over three days now, but it's actually getting shorter and shorter with less time between picks. Last year's draft was the shortest ever for a seven-round draft, with a combined 13 hours and 45 minutes of draft time.

If you're scoring at home, NFL teams have 10 minutes between picks in the first round, then seven minutes between picks in the second and five minutes between picks in the third on Friday. That five-minute clock stays until Saturday's seventh round, when teams have only four minutes between picks.
