Bills coach Rex Ryan returns to the place where he became one of the NFL's biggest headline-makers before being fired after six seasons. More importantly, the Bills (4-4) and Jets (5-3) are battling for second place in the AFC East, behind the undefeated Patriots. … Bills QB Tyrod Taylor returned from a two-week absence Sunday to spark a victory over the Dolphins. But Buffalo is banged up on defense and has allowed 390 or more yards three times this season. … Bills RB LeSean McCoy was limited in practice because of a sore right shoulder but is expected to play. … Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will try to play through a torn ligament in his left thumb. … New York has averaged 2.46 yards per carry in its past three games. It does regain C Nick Mangold, who has been hampered by a neck strain, but it lost right guard Willie Colon for the season due to chronic knee problems.
