NFL Thursday preview: Dolphins at Patriots

The Dolphins have won both games under interim coach Dan Campbell by a combined 82-36. That turnaround will be tested against the AFC East-leading Patriots, one off five unbeaten teams left in the NFL. … The Dolphins, whose running game ranked next to last in the NFL before Campbell took over, now lead the league at 5.3 yards per attempt. The Patriots are allowing 4.5 yards per attempt, 24th in the NFL , but haven't given up a rushing touchdown since Week 2. … New England leads NFL with 35.5 points per game and is tied for the league lead with 20 touchdowns in 28 red-zone possessions. … With 533 yards, the Patriots' Rob Gronkowski is on pace to break the NFL record for a season by a tight end.
