Storm lose to Jacksonville, eliminated from playoffs

JACKSONVILLE — The Tampa Bay Storm lost 69-62 to Jacksonville in the first round of the Arena Football League playoffs Saturday night after allowing 36 points in the fourth quarter.

The Storm (7-12) led 62-55 with 52 seconds left after Joe Hills caught his third TD of the game, an 8-yarder from Shane Boyd.

The Sharks got within a point on Bernard Morris' 7-yard TD pass to Markee White with 8 seconds left and took the lead on holder Jeff Hughley's conversion run. Boyd fumbled the ensuing kickoff and the Sharks scored for the final margin.
