TAMPA — Carrollwood Day rolled to a 38-15 victory over Cambridge at Skyway Park.
Patriots quarterback Deuce Gruden was 6-of-7 for 156 yards with three touchdowns by halftime. He finished 8-of-12 for 278 yards with four touchdowns and added 30 yards rushing.
Although penalties killed Carrollwood Day in the first half, including 40 yards in penalties on a drive that led to a Cambridge touchdown, Patriots bounced back and caused two fumbles and had two interceptions.
Patriots running back Robert Davis finished with 148 yards.
