Around the county in 30 days A daily spring preview of every football program in the county. Clearwater Central Catholic Coach: Mike Jalazo (seventh season, 44-28) Last season: 7-5 (lost 32-10 to Frostproof in region final) District: Class 2B-5 (Berkeley Prep, Frostproof, Sarasota Cardinal Mooney) Key losses: RB/DB Anthony Cochran, PK/P Joey Ijjas, QB Brent Henderson, OL/DL Kyle Rettig, TE/LB Danny Wood. Who's back: QB/DB Ian Coia, TE/DL Paul Freedman, QB/LB Bobby Lyons (left), RB Micah Poole What's new: The Marauders will have plenty of new faces after losing 22 seniors. Jalazo said he likes his skill position players, particularly Micah Poole and Paul Freedman, both of whom could put up big numbers. Ian Coia and Bobby Lyons will split time at quarterback. Both lines have young but unproven talent. Audible: "This is one of the best group of skill guys we've had here. We have a lot of athleticism and versatility. We just have to see how we develop up front." — Jalazo. Did you know?: The Marauders have made the playoffs 12 straight seasons, the county's longest active streak.
