TAMPA — In his 30 seasons as coach of Chamberlain, Billy Turner had never seen anything like the Chiefs' opening drive.

Encompassing the entire first quarter and 80 yards, the 21-play drive ended with Kenny Allen's 16-yard touchdown run. The drive featured three successful fourth-down conversions, sparking a rout for Chamberlain (9-1, 2-0).

"King was feisty in the first half," Turner said. "They have guys that are tough just like we do, they have guys that will fight you just as good as anybody else."

King (3-6, 0-2) got its own fourth-down break on the following drive when a roughing-the-kicker penalty brought the Lions to the Chamberlain 30-yard line. But King was forced to punt. Allen and quarterback Dontae Aycock combined for 44 yards on their second drive to put the Chiefs ahead 13-0.
