Boca Ciega 50, Seminole 6

SEMINOLE — Boca Ciega's smothering defense stifled Seminole en route to an overwhelming 50-6 victory Friday night.

The Warhawks (1-8, 0-3) managed four first downs on 90 total yards. The Pirates (3-5, 1-2) forced four turnovers, including three fumbles, one of which was recovered in the end zone.

Quarterback Shaquille Bradford led the way offensively for the Pirates, completing passes to seven receivers and throwing touchdowns of 4, 37 and 41 yards. Senior Latavien Washington added 112 yards and two touchdowns on 10 rushes, and Denzel Dillard sprinted down the right sideline for a 57-yard touchdown.

The lone bright spot for Seminole was running back Brandon Feinberg, who broke off a 67-yard touchdown run. Feinberg finished with eight rushes for 74 yards.
