Canterbury 10, Mount Dora Bible 9: Canterbury built a 10-3 first-half lead and held on in a wild finish to win on the road.
Mount Dora scored a touchdown on a long run with just over a minute remaining to pull within a point of Canterbury (4-3). The Bulldogs lined up to go for two but were penalized 5 yards for a false start.
Facing a conversion try from the 7-yard line, Mount Dora (3-5) opted to kick the extra point. It sailed wide left.
"We moved the ball pretty well," Canterbury coach Steve Dudley said. "We dominated stat-wise, but we fumbled the ball five times and lost two of them."
Canterbury's lone touchdown came on a blocked 47-yard field-goal attempt that Tim Bogott returned 53 yards for a score in the second quarter.
Jeremy Dolan added a 32-yard field goal just before the half to make it 10-3.
