Canterbury 60, Seven Rivers Christian 0

ST. PETERSBURG — Canterbury started the scoring in a big way Friday against Seven Rivers Christian, as sophomore Brent O'Neil caught a 73-yard pass from Dominique Thornton in the first quarter.

Later in the quarter O'Neil dashed to the end zone from 13 yards out for a 14-0 lead. Emery Ellinger caught a 60-yard touchdown pass from Thornton in the second quarter, and James Goodwin scored on a 25-yard run to put the Crusaders (6-1) up 27-0 at the half.

Goodwin scored on back-to-back 40-yard runs in the third, finishing with 108 yards on five carries.
