Ex-Robinson RB Doster arrested in Ybor

Former Robinson running back Jermaine Doster, a redshirt freshman last season at Vanderbilt, was arrested in Ybor City early Friday morning on three misdemeanor charges, including disorderly conduct.

Doster, 20, is the brother of former Vanderbilt running back Kwane Doster, who was shot and killed in Ybor City in December 2004 while on break.

Jermaine Doster was arrested at 1:40 a.m. Friday after he was ejected from the Honey Pot nightclub at 1507 E Seventh Ave., according to police reports. The Tampa Police arrest report states that Doster did not leave when asked, and after he was arrested, he caused enough of a disturbance to create a "large crowd," then kicked out a rear window of a squad car after being put inside.

He was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and resisting arrest without violence. He was booked at Orient Road Jail and released at 8 a.m. on $1,250 bond.
