TAMP — Admiral Farragut (7-0, 5-0) picked up another Class B, District 5 win Friday, shutting out Cambridge Christian 19-0.
After a first half of mostly missed chances by both teams, Admiral Farragut struck just before halftime when quarterback Rayshawn Jenkins connected with Alvin Cunningham on an 8-yard fade route for a 7-0 lead.
Admiral Farragut maintained its momentum in the third quarter, as Jenkins ran one right up the Lancers' gut for 39 yards and a 13-0 lead.
Admiral's defense did the rest, holding Cambridge (4-4, 2-2) to 96 total yards and four first downs.
AFA rounded out scoring late in the fourth quarter on a 5-yard run by Toddrick Macon.
