ST. PETERSBURG — Finally was the word of the night for Admiral Farragut.

After eight years, the Blue Jackets were finally able to defeat Shorecrest, rolling to a victory in front of a homecoming crowd.

Sophomore Toddrick Macon ran for 153 yards and two touchdowns as Admiral Farragut amassed more than 300 yards rushing.

The Blue Jackets were equally impressive on defense as they held the Chargers to fewer than 100 total yards.

Admiral Farragut is off next week then heads to Fort Myers for the opening round of the state playoffs.

"This was a great win for us," coach Chris Miller said. "There were so many guys that stepped up for us. It was a complete team effort."
