Football: Alonso 35, Freedom 6

TAMPA — Entering Friday's game, Freedom knew that holding Alonso running back Ish Witter to under 100 yards would increase its chances of winning.

Unfortunately for the Patriots, their focus on Witter allowed the Ravens to show off their offensive balance. They scored four touchdowns through the air in a 35-6 victory. Senior quarterback Brandon Hawkins connected with junior wideout Marcus Mosley for three TDs, the last a fade route that ended with an acrobatic grab by Mosley in the end zone.

"Coming into the game, I didn't have any touchdowns so I just told myself to stay patient and make plays when the ball came my way," Mosley said.

The other big story of the game was penalties. Both teams combined for 30 totaling 240 yards.
