TAMPA — Other than a lightning delay of about 30 minutes, little could stop Chris Williams. The senior ran for 221 yards and three touchdowns to help the Bucs hold off pesky Lennard.

Berkeley Prep (5-0) managed only one score in the second half but did enough defensively to stave off Lennard (0-5) .

Williams scored twice in the first quarter as the Bucs took a 21-6 lead. But Victor Williams stopped any thoughts of a blowout. He scored on a 75-yard run in the first quarter and a 66-yard run in the third to pull the Longhorns to within 24-13. But turnovers (four fumbles) and penalties (eight for 60 yards) thwarted the upset bid.

Chris Williams capped his dazzling night with an 8-yard touchdown run to cement the win. Victor Williams caught a 50-yard touchdown to cap the scoring.
