ST. PETERSBURG — Berkeley Prep (2-3), coming off a 17-13 loss to Tampa Catholic, came ready to face Admiral Farragut (2-3). In the first quarter, the Bucs inched their way down the field, winding the clock down to 1:28 before quarterback Joshua Youngblood, on third and goal, rushed for a 2-yard touchdown.
Neither team could reach the end zone again until the start of the fourth quarter when Admiral Farragut QB Keondrae Miller rushed 25 yards to tie the score. Youngblood followed with a 40-yard run to the end zone to seal the victory.
Stars of the game: Youngblood and running back Jakob Hines controlled the pace. With 44 plays during the game, Youngblood scored both touchdowns while racking up 74 rushing yards. Hines ended the night with 73 rushing yards.
Key stats: Both teams recorded only four penalties. Admiral Farragut lost 25 yards to Berkeley Prep's 35. The Blue Jackets ended the night with 237 total yards and the Buccaneers with 240.
