TAMPA — Blake (3-4) held off a battling Leto (0-7) to collect a valuable road victory ahead of a stretch of three consecutive home games. The result equals the program's best win total since 2012.

Key drive: With the score tied at 14, the Yellow Jackets capitalized on a kick return that started a second quarter drive on the Leto 3-yard line. On the first play, junior running back Jaiden Morris punched in the go-ahead score, his second rushing touchdown of the evening.

Stars of the game: Morris finished with 68 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns, though he also had a fumble in the fourth quarter. Leto's Jamie Reid had 127 yards on seven catches and three touchdowns before grabbing an interception on defense. It was a wild night for Leto quarterback Darryl Mercer Jr. as he threw for 167 yards, completing 10-of-27 with three touchdowns but also four interceptions.

Stat of the game: The Yellow Jackets defense forced a total of six turnovers that included a fumble and interception returned for touchdowns. The special teams unit also blocked a punt for a score, as the team scored more points from its defense than on offense.
