DUNEDIN — Boca Ciega set the tone from the start, forcing a three-and-out on defense. On their first offensive drive, the Pirates ran nine plays for 54 yards, capped off by a 5-yard touchdown pass by Osby Green to Jaylyn Kimbrough.

On their next drive Boca Circa scored again in six plays with a 37-yard pass by Green to Koby Wynn, setting up a 9-yard touchdown run by Letayveon Beaton.

Dunedin followed with a 11-play, 64-yard drive, but was stopped on downs at Bogie's 10. Bogie responded by driving 90 yards on just four plays, finishing with a 28-yard touchdown pass by Green to Sam Thompson.

Green continued his great work in the second half, throwing a 12-yard touchdown to Isaiah Gibson and finished the scoring with a 31-yard TD run.

Key drives: Boca Ciega's opening drive went nine plays for 54 yards, 4:21 and a touchdown. Then the Pirate defense held off Dunedin after an 11-play, 65-yard drive, and responded with 90 yards and four plays in 2:08 for their third touchdown to break the game open.

Stars of the game: Green completed 14-of-15 for 274 yards and three TDs, and he also ran for 64 yards on four carries with a score. … Thompson had four catches for 99 yards and a TD, while Gibson had four receptions for 79 yards and a score. … Will Chambliss had two sacks in the first half to stymie Dunedin on their the Falcons' drive.

Stats of the game: Boca Ciega outgained Dunedin 274-72 through the air and 441-153 overall.
