TAMPA — Brandon (6-0) extended its undefeated season at Wharton.

The Eagles were led by senior running back Darius Lee, who rushed eight times for 134 yards and a touchdown.

Brandon got off to a fast start as junior running back Tyrell Garner ran the opening kickoff back 95 yards for a touchdown.

Wharton senior running back David Larry had a 47-yard touchdown run in the first, but with less than a minute to go in the quarter, Brandon capped a 96-yard drive with a 3-yard touchdown run by Garner for a 28-7 lead.

Brandon did not attempt one pass, running the ball 46 times to account for all of its 373 total yards of offense.

Wharton replaced quarterbacks in the second half with freshman Chase Litton coming in for senior Ryan Hatter.
