SEFFNER — Cambridge Christian spoiled first-year Seffner Christian's home opener.

With 9:21 to go in the second quarter, Seffner Christian cut the score to 13-6 on a 42-yard pass to Steven Marsh. However, the score wouldn't get any closer, with Cambridge scoring 32 unanswered points.

The Lancers were led by quarterback Michael McDermott, who was 9-for-12 with 252 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Brandon Park caught five passes for 147 yards and a touchdown.

Cambridge's defense forced three turnovers, including a 75-yard interception return for a touchdown, and scoring a safety on Seffner's opening drive.

Crusaders quarterback Tanner Richardson wasn't as efficient throwing the ball, but led the game in rushing with 100 yards.
