CLEARWATER — Clearwater stormed back from a 7-0 deficit before an early third-quarter weather delay Friday to earn a hard-fought 20-15 district win over Seminole.

The Tornadoes (2-3, 1-1) got contributions from quarterback Jordan Leston, rushing eight times for 47 yards and a score. He was 15-of-22 for 133 yards and connected on the winning touchdown to Adam Harris with 1:45 remaining.

Defensively the Tornadoes stood tall, especially late. Craig Parsons' interception of Noah Weller with two minutes remaining set up the winning score. Anthony White's interception with nine seconds left preserved the win.

The Warhawks (1-4, 0-1) were led by Ra'Quanne Dickens (22 carries, 173 yards, one TD) and Trevor Ralph (12 carries, 58 yards, one TD, a two-point conversion run).
