Football: Clearwater 26, Dunedin 7

DUNEDIN — Ryan Hagen, who pulled a neck muscle earlier this month, returned to carry Clearwater to a 26-7 win over Dunedin.

"It's the best feeling in the world right now," Hagen said.

Clearwater (5-3, 1-2) cashed in after a first-quarter fumble as Hagen hit Jon Hogan for a 26-yard touchdown.

Dunedin (1-6, 0-2) responded with a drive capped by Jezreel Saunders' 20-yard run.

Clearwater ended the half with a 6-yard TD run by Tony Castro.

Hagen found Heath Anderson for a 33-yard TD pass one play after a fourth-quarter fumble.

Robert Yarbrough then intercepted a pass and took it 34 yards.

"We've got to keep fighting and hope we can get in this playoff race," Hagen said.
