SEMINOLE — After a close first quarter Friday, Clearwater's Ryan Hagen took command.
Hagen found big plays to propel his team, three times accounting for 40-plus yards from scrimmage. Included was a 64-yard touchdown that began with escaping a collapsing pocket and ended in a footrace.
"We were just trying to come out and work as a team and just move the ball downfield and have a productive night," said Hagen.
Hagen found his playmakers, as Brandon Harvey and Bennie Niles scored on plays of more than 20 yards. Harvey finished with four catches for 122 yards, while Niles sped to 83 yards on 16 carries.
Clearwater's defense allowed Jace Browne to rush for 183 yards and a TD. But Michael Jerrido picked off the Warriors' Andrew Matyk twice.
