Football: Dunedin 45, Dixie Hollins 34

DUNEDIN— Dunedin jumped out to a 27-7 lead early in the second quarter on Tyler Palermiti's second touchdown pass to Janiero Crankfield.Dixie came back with 20 unanswered points, 13 on Jacobi Middlebrooks' blocked punt and Davontae Harrington's 90-yard punt return, to make it 27-27 at the half.Dunedin rebounded in the second half, however, behind Jordan Williams. He rushed for a 40-yard touchdown to open the third quarter and scored on a 5-yard run to cap Dunedin's scoring.Drives of the game: Trailing 27-7 early in the second quarter, the Rebels lined up in punt formation on fourth and 17. But a fake resulted in Tyrie Adams' 18-yard completion to D'Vonte Cook. Then on fourth down from the Dunedin 8, Adams and Cook connected for a touchdown pass. After blowing a 20-point lead, Dunedin came out in the second half and held the ball for 41/2 minutes with effective running by Williams. He finished the drive with a 40-yard touchdown run to give Dunedin the lead and momentum.Plays of the game: Dunedin's Zamonte Larry intercepted a pass by Adams with 9:18 left in the game. He got his second interception with 3:11 left to ice the gameStars of the game: Williams ran for 173 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries. Palermiti was 6-of-14 for 216 yards and three touchdowns.
