ST. PETERSBURG — Admiral Farragut's comeback fell short when it fumbled late.
Trailing 25-13, Colby Robinson hit Jestin Green for a 24-yard touchdown. The Blue Jackets faked the extra point, and holder Brad Hyman-Muhammad found William Anderson for two points.
IRC scored on its first possession, an 8-yard pass from Matt Kulaga to Damian King. After a fumble recovery in Farragut territory, it made it 12-0 on Kulaga's 1-yard run
Hyman-Muhammad later caught a 20-yard touchdown and put Farragut up 13-12 when he returned the second-half kickoff 90 yards.
But another Kulaga run from 1 yard and freshman Theo Anderson's 45-yard score off a pitch put the Golden Eagles up by two scores with less than five minutes left.
