ST. PETERSBURG — Keswick Christian came out like a finely tuned machine in Friday's 41-13 win over Shorecrest.
Crusaders quarterback Tyler Angell connected with Armani Lonardo early in the first quarter on a 52-yard pass to go up 7-0. Kristian Craig then scored on a 1-yard run for a 14-0 lead.
Jaime Quezon led the Chargers (1-9) on an impressive drive, finishing with a 3-yard run to cut it to 14-7. But again Angell hooked up with Lonardo and the 15-yard score stretched Keswick's lead to 21-7. Angell was 7-for-8 for 127 yards in the first half, all to Lonardo, who finished with nine catches for 153 yards and two TDs.
In the second half Keswick's Adam Foster scored on a 15-yard run for a 28-7 cushion. Jayln Coleman later scored on a 3-yard run to put Keswick (4-6) up 35-7.
