Football: Lake Highland 27, Tampa Catholic 10

TAMPA — Lake Highland forced six turnovers and outscored Tampa Catholic 20-0 in the fourth quarter en route to victory.

Mikey Dorcely led the Highlanders, rushing for 100 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Alfred Simon added a touchdown on the ground before returning an interception 30 yards for a score to seal the game late.

Tampa Catholic used four running backs to total 120 yards on the ground. Trevor Register rushed for 53 yards on 10 carries.

Crusaders freshman Chivarsky Corbett threw for 128 yards, including an 82-yard touchdown to Michael Clark early in the first quarter. Corbett was 5-for-15 before a late injury sidelined him.

The Crusaders lost two fumbles, threw an interception and turned the ball over on downs during the second half.
