Football: Middleton 28, Leto 0

TAMPA — Middleton stayed unbeaten at home this season, shutting out Leto.

Middleton (4-5) was led by junior quarterback Aaron Midthus, who threw for 188 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 45 yards and two scores.

Early in the third quarter, the Tigers broke the game open on an 80-yard pitch-and-catch from Midthus to wide receiver Richard Benjamin. The catch was Benjamin's first of two for 121 yards and the touchdown.

The Tigers offense racked up 322 total yards.

The Falcons (1-9) mustered 185 total yards, most of which came on the ground. The Falcons were hurt by turnovers with six total.
