Tampa Catholic 7

The prosperous era of Tampa Catholic football, when Jesuit seemed the lone nightmare on the Crusaders' regular season schedule, apparently is over.

Now, every team is making TC's life miserable.

Friday in Ocala, it was Trinity Catholic's turn. The Celtics struck for three touchdowns in the first 13 minutes en route to a 48-7 romp. Tampa Catholic is 0-3 for the first time since 2004, the year before Bob Henriquez embarked on his second stint as Crusaders coach.

Junior Zach Dyer scored the Crusaders' lone touchdown on a 2-yard run midway through the third period. Senior Jeremiaha Gates passed for a TD and ran for two more to lead the Celtics (3-0).
