Football: Osceola 47, Dunedin 7

DUNEDIN — Osceola picked up its first win of the season by routing Dunedin 47-7. The Warriors started quickly, scoring on the second play of the game, a 40-yard touchdown pass by Ryan Allan to Isaac Rosenbluth. Two minutes later the Warriors struck again on a 11-yard run by Travis Wateska. After the teams traded fumbles at the Dunedin 12, Chad Brittain caught a 12-yard touchdown from Allan to extend the lead to 21-0. Dunedin got on the board on its fourth drive thanks to 35 yards on back-to-back option runs by Tyler Palermiti to set up Tarrell Wymes' 7-yard run. But Brittain, Allan and Tony Niles added rushing touchdowns for the Warriors for a 40-7 haltime lead and Niles' third-quarter touchdown put the Warriors up 47-7, activating the running clock.

Key drives: Osceola's first drive went 50 yards in two plays. Its third drive went 40 yards on six plays but ended on a fumble at the Dunedin 12. Dunedin immediately fumbled on the following play to give the ball back to the Warriors, who scored two plays later.

Star of the game: Wateska ran for 141 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. Allan was responsible for three touchdowns.

Stats of the game: Osceola forced four turnovers — three fumbles and an interception.
