RIVERVIEW — Plant City coach Wayne Ward knew all too well of Bloomingdale quarterback Isaiah McIntyre's skill set, which helped the Bulls (2-2) rack up 40 points last week against Plant.

Now McIntyre knows a thing or two about the Raiders' formidable defense, which sacked him seven times and intercepted him twice in Friday's 40-0 win. The Bulls' home game was relocated on homecoming night because of a soggy field at Bloomingdale.

"He's such a great athlete," Ward said of McIntyre, who entered the game ranked second in the county in all-purpose yards. "We did some adjustments with our defensive line and had our best guys on the inside to contain him."

Two second-half interceptions fueled the Raiders' runaway win. Plant City (4-0) led 19-0 before picking off McIntyre twice for two touchdowns 54 seconds apart that made it a 33-0 game.

On the final play of the third quarter, Tavares Chase returned an interception 78 yards for a touchdown. On the Bulls' first play after the ensuing kickoff, Sawyer Dawson ran back an interception from 42 yards.
