Football: Ridgewood 21, Hudson 12

NEW PORT RICHEY — Ridgewood came into Friday night's game against Hudson looking for its first victory. The Rams got on the board early as quarterback Bob Peck connected with Max Livingstone for an 80-yard touchdown. Hudson came right back as Cody Beck found Gary Myrick for 55-yard touchdown. Myrick added his second score right before halftime when he rushed from 3 yards out and Hudson (0-7, 0-3) took a 12-8 lead into the half.

The Rams (1-6, 1-2) came out for the second half fired up. Peck capped a 10-play drive with a 1-yard score. Cameron Rodriguez scored late in the fourth when he went 50 yards untouched. He finished with 260 yards rushing.

Ridgewood coach Kent Reed was happy with his team's first win.

"We feel we can win the rest of our games," he said.
