HUDSON — Ridgewood was up against a familiar face in Fivay coach Chris Taylor. And the Rams forced eight turnovers to come up with the win against the Falcons.
Chase Zwaschka intercepted a Tyler Degen pass, setting up a 3-yard touchdown run. Shayne Wahe threw a 10-yard pass to Ralphie Dawkins as time expired in the first half, making the score 21-0 Rams.
The Rams came out running in the second half when Cameron Rodriguez capped a 11-play drive with a 1-yard run. Quarterback Bobby Peck hit Santo Perez in the back of the end zone moments later to make score 34-0.
Freshman Zach Russell scored on a 1-yard touchdown to get Fivay on the board. A bright spot for the Falcons was Bryan Poinsette, who had four carries for 81 yards.
