NEW PORT RICHEY — A one-hour rain delay couldn't help Anclote stop River Ridge and the North Suncoast's leading rusher, Chris Schwarz. It only took four plays in 1 minute, 30 seconds for the Royal Knights (5-1) to set the tone. The defense did its job too, keeping Anclote (0-6) off the scoreboard for its first shutout of the season lead by nose guard Dillion O'Toole (two sacks).

Play of the game: With his team leading 41-0 in the fourth quarter Patrick Mathieson couldn't find much rhythm with his receivers. Then he made jaws drop. Mathieson, for the first time, fielded a punt. He avoided two tackles, and raced down the right sideline to the applause of his teammates before being stopped 10 yards short of the end zone.

Final word: "It's crazy, undescribable, my line makes its so easy I just come out every day and whatever comes, comes. I was blessed with this and it's just a great thing that I look forward to sharing with my teammates." — River Ridge junior running back Schwarz, who set the school's single-season rushing record in just six games and became the first runner in Tampa Bay to surpass 1,000 yards this season.
