DUNEDIN — Robinson defeated Dunedin 29-0 Friday to take momentum into next week's game against Jesuit. The Knights forced three turnovers, including two interception returns for touchdowns. Robinson forced its first turnover in the first quarter when Dunedin's Shaq Dixon lost control of the football and Robinson's Dominic Jennings recovered. On the ensuing possession, Ozziah Williams caught a 7-yard pass from Zain Gilmore for a 7-0 lead.
On Dunedin's next possession, Mack Benson threw a pass right to Robinson's Terrance Baldwin, who took it 38 yards for a touchdown.
In the second half Robinson scored on a 1-yard run by Gilmore and a 56-yard interception return by Carlos Duclos.
"I couldn't ask for anything more from the defense," said Robinson coach Mike DePue.
