TAMPA — Robinson was not looking ahead. Led by Martin Ruiz, Robert Priester, Zain Gilmore and Carlos Duclos, it ran for 300-plus yards and four touchdowns to roll.

Already the 5A-8 champion, Robinson stayed unbeaten (9-0) entering next week's showdown against neighborhood rival Plant.

Three plays into Friday's contest, the rout was on.

Priester opened the scoring with a 61-yard run. He also closed the first-half scoring with a 5-yard pass from Gilmore. In between, the Knights scored on Ruiz's 57-yard and Duclos' 14-yard scamper. Ruiz led Robinson with 110 yards. Gilmore added 69 to go with 105 yards passing.

Amp Carswell led Middleton with 51 yards rushing, including an 18-yard cross-field dash to complete the scoring.
