Football: Seffner Christian 42, Cedar Creek Christian 6

DOVER — Seffner Christian blew out visiting Cedar Creek Christian 42-6 on the Crusaders' homecoming night for the second victory in program history.

Seffner Christian scored eight points in the first minute, the first two coming on a safety. Then Tanner Richardson took the kick back 60 yards for a score.

Richardson, also the quarterback, then led the Crusaders on three consecutive scoring drives to make it 28-0. He threw one touchdown pass to Garrett Saunders and ran for another. He finished the night with second scoring run and kicked four point-afters.

Richardson got help from his bruising tailback, Seth Lewis, who had 96 yards and a touchdown.

The Crusaders defense had six takeaways and held the Soldiers to less than 200 yards offense.
