TAMPA — Sickles offense had its way early and late with King, opening Class 6A, District 8 play with a 42-12 win Friday at home.

Sickles (2-1, 1-0) got 113 yards rushing and a touchdown from sophomore running back Ray Ray McCloud. Senior Nate Mills and his sophomore backup, Issac Holder, combined to complete 7 of 8 passes for 118 yards and four touchdowns. Mills completed TD passes to Bilal Salat (22 yards) and Chett Levay (15 yards) in the first half while Holder hit 28-yard scoring strikes to De'Andre Mathis and Brandon Washington.

"Nate was on tonight," Sickles coach Brian Turner said. "When he is at his best, he's a calming influence on this team."
