Football: Spoto 38, Osceola 13

RIVERVIEW — Nick Addison threw for two first-half touchdowns as Spoto upended Osceola 38-13.

Tim Adams opened the scoring for Spoto with a 7-yard touchdown run at 8:14 of the first quarter. Osceola (0-9) answered back just less than three minutes later with a 3-yard run by Marcus Sherrod.

Spoto (6-3) dominated the rest of the half, reeling off 22 points to take a 30-7 lead at halftime. A 19-yard pass from Addison to Tyron Baker capped a 94-yard drive that began with just less than two minutes in the half.

Baker, who had 83 yards receiving, became the first Spoto player to register more than 1,000 yards receiving in a single season.

"I didn't think I was going to be able to pull it off," Baker said, "but after the first two games I knew I'd have it in the bag."
