LAND O'LAKES — After tough losses the previous two weeks to Pasco and Land O'Lakes, Sunlake halted its skid by dismantling visiting River Ridge on senior night.

"It was important that we got the seniors out of here on a high note," Seahawks coach Bill Browning said.

One senior, Jacob Jackson, went out on a very high note. Sunlake's starting QB was 12-of-18 for 98 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 14 times for 180 yards and two TDs. He surpassed 1,300 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards for the season.

"He has just had a tremendous senior year, and (his leadership) was huge, it was big. I was rotating quarterbacks in the fourth quarter because I have to find his replacement." Browning said.

Sunlake (8-2) also held the Knights (2-8) to 65 yards of total offense and five first downs.
