TAMPA — Tampa Bay Tech held Steinbrenner scoreless through three quarters, leading 23-0. But the Warriors went on to score 15 straight points, then converted a successful onside kick. But the late-game magic didn't last long.

Key drives: A big flea flicker 58-yard pass from wide receiver Justin Moffatt to Cody Burgess gave Jayquese Dantley room to rush the ball in for a 5-yard touchdown with 11 minutes left in the game. Then Steinbrenner's Quentin Poteralski threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Robinson to make the score 23-15, eventually setting the stage for a successful onside kick with around five minutes left in the game. The Warriors put themselves in good shape to score thanks to another pass from Poteralski to Robinson down to around the Titans' 35-yard line. But on the following play, the Warriors fumbled, giving Malik Wright the opportunity to run it back for a Titans touchdown to put the game out of reach with about four minutes remaining.

Stars of the game: Titan players Deon Cain, Daquon Green and Wright all contributed to the big district win with Green setting up an early lead that lasted until late in the game. Cain added 14 points to secure the lead with some wiggle room, and Wright saved the day for the Titans by returning the fumble for a final blow.
