ST. PETERSBURG — Tampa Catholic outscored host Northeast 23-7 in the second half to win a 37-28 shootout.

Ryan Davis hit his running back Donterio Fowler on a 6-yard pass, and a 2-point conversion gave the Vikings (5-2, 1-1) an early 8-7 lead. Northeast led 21-7 just before halftime on another short pass from Davis to Auggie Sanchez.
