NEW PORT RICHEY — Zephyrhills quarterback Chris Reaves threw his second touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter to Jamal Roberts and the 8-yard strike helped the Bulldogs earn their first win of the season.

Gulf (5-4, 2-4) got off to a rocky start as running back Kris Aratchiysky fumbled on the second play from scrimmage, but the Bulldogs failed to take advantage.

Gulf took over and drove 88 yards, capped by an 8-yard rushing touchdown by Julio Vega. The drive was punctuated by a 50-yard carry by Austin Jackson, who finished with 64 yards.

The Bulldogs (1-7, 1-5) answered on their next possession as Reaves threw a 25-yard touchdown to Roberts.

Zephyrhills struck again before halftime with a 1-yard rushing touchdown by Frank Morrison.
